Today, at 08.55 a.m., the largest and highest window looking at our Earth has been opened.
From ASI-ALTEC Centre in Turin, the Thales Alenia Space – Italy experts, with the support of the ALTEC technicians, have been able to support the operations of the Cupola opening, as well as the preparatory activities, including module re-locations, executed in the past days.
The astronauts have immediately exploited the new possibilities offered by Cupola shooting images of our planet and of the ISS that in the next days will be issued by NASA.
